Access To My Health Portal Offered
MyHealthPortal offered to Thompson Nicola – area patients
Interior Health will offer Thompson Nicola patients access to their personal health information online via the new MyHealthPortal tool.
MyHealthPortal provides patients with 24 hour access to their health information via their phone, tablet or computer through a secure portal from the Interior Health website. Features include the ability to view Interior Health lab results, diagnostic imaging reports (such as X-ray, CT and ultrasound), certain upcoming appointments, recent hospital visit history, and the opportunity to update address and phone number information.
Remote enrolment is available in Ashcroft and Merritt after Oct. 31, and Lillooet and Clearwater after Nov. 7. To enrol remotely, patients must first ask to have their email address added to their patient record at the Registration desk during their next visit to hospital and then can submit an enrolment request at www.interiorhealth.ca/MyHealthPortal. MyHealthPortal support will contact them by phone to verify their identity and complete enrolment.
The Thompson Nicola-area hospitals are the latest to be offered access to the online tool. MyHealthPortal is currently also available to patients who have enrolled in person or via remote enrollment at the pilot sites. In the future, the service will be introduced to all Interior Health hospital patients through a phased roll-out schedule. To date, more than 1,170 patients have enrolled in MyHealthPortal.
MyHealthPortal is a secure patient health portal. Protecting and safeguarding patients’ personal information is among Interior Health’s highest priorities. In addition to stringent privacy practices, Interior Health uses a diverse range of technologies and security mechanisms to ensure the safety, confidentiality and integrity of patient information.

Doctor Obu and Doctor Zake are at the Ashcroft Health Centre. Any resident wishing to book an appointment may call the clinic at
Interior Health, in collaboration with the Village of Ashcroft and WHAC will be supporting the new physician group to be settled into the community and engage in discussions to determine what the model of health care will be to ensure a sustainable and consistent service to the community.
Emergency Department Open Weekends
At this time, the Ashcroft Hospital and Health Centre Emergency Department will remain open weekends, which is Friday at 6p.m. to Monday at 8 a.m.
The community will be notified if any changes are made to these operating hours.
